Ganache Bonus!
Remember the Ganache recipe from a previous post? Here is a fabulous dessert you can make using the ganache in its chilled and firm state. We first had this a year ago at a place called the Nob Hill Cafe in San Francisco and it was so incredible that I took pictures of it to remind me to make and serve this to dinner guests. We went back to that restaurant again just this past August and were thrilled to see this dessert on the menu so we ordered it. Just as glorious! It's so easy to assemble: Take a wine goblet of any shape and put real whipped cream in the bottom, then a few sliced strawberries, two scoops of chilled ganache, more strawberries and fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint on top. Yay!
